Consulting services are currently offered to any body who is interested in expanding their ability to connect with others about the topic of sexuality. This includes parents and grandparents who would like to connect with their children and grandchildren and being able to lean into having some of the difficult conversations about sexuality, drug use and mental health.
I also work with teachers who are interested in developing lesson plans to facilitate sexual health, mental health and substance use education that meets the most recent BC Ministry of Education Guidelines for Health and Physical Education. Lesson plans will be designed with the teacher and students in mind. An assessment of student learning styles and teacher strengths will be used to create lesson plans that can be carried out in a safe and meaningful way that is trauma-sensitive and all-inclusive.
I also work with nurses and other health care providers who would like to expand their knowledge and skills in delivering sexual health, mental health and substance use information to the children and youth in their practice.
